07 Mar GRASP: K-8 Summer Math & Reading Program
G R A S P: HELPS MAINTAIN K-8 MATH & READING SKILLS
Northview has made arrangements to acquire the GRASP program for your child this summer. GRASP is a correspondence program for grades K – 8 helping students maintain reading and math skills while they are on summer break. It should take your child approximately one hour to complete each weekly lesson. It is suggested parents order the grade just completed. If there are extenuating circumstances, order the level appropriate for your child.
Lessons are completed, mailed to a scoring center where they are analyzed and then returned to you. Instruction sheets found in each packet provide all the necessary information. There is an online version of GRASP for students in 4th to 8th grade, too. The enrollment fee is $26 for one subject and $46 for both for each child. You may enroll your child by completing the form sent home with your student or download the form from the Northview website (nvps.net). DEADLINE for ordering is March 27, 2017. Packets will be sent home with your student in May. If you have questions, please contact the Community Education Office (616 361-3444 or firstname.lastname@example.org.)
