Our School

Welcome to East Oakview Elementary School

eastscoggandy1.15I was delighted to join East Oakview as the new principal in 2014-15.  It has been one of my most memorable years in education.  I enjoy greeting students, parents and staff as they arrive each morning.  One belief that stands out at East is our Community clearly embraces serving the educational needs of our students.  We are in this journey together.

East Oakview offers an abundance of educational opportunities for students from kindergarten through 4th grade.  Our school is accredited by AdvancED School System Accreditation from the AdvancED Accreditation Commission and is recognized nationally as a quality school.

At East Oakview, we provide an exceptional learning environment for each individual child.  “There’s work and life’s work, the kind that has finger prints all over it.”  I read this quote from Apple Computers and know it captures our teachers’ and staffs’ behavior at East Oakview.

East Oakview believes in collaboration.  At our school we have stopped making a case for change because change on a global scale has already taken place – technology, financial markets and shifts in education happen.  I invite all stakeholders to collaborate with us to continue to make East Oakview an exceptional learning environment for every child.

I am excited to serve our teachers, students, parents and community members this year.  Please feel free to contact me with ideas, questions or concerns so that we can partner together to deliver the very best to our students.

Educationally yours,

Andy Scogg
Principal at East Oakview Elementary
