26 Sep EC Partners with HQ
East Campus will be partnering with HQ, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide a safe “drop-in” environment for teens and young adults between the ages of 14 and 24. HQ offers
- Laundry services
- Basic need items and clothing
- Employment & educational resources
- Housing crisis support
- Computer lab available for online school courses, homework, job searching and resume development, art projects, and networking
This is all offered at no cost to the young adults who access this program’s offerings.
East Campus will be collecting cereal that will then be passed on to teens and young adults that are experiencing homelessness, runaway or whose housing is unsafe or unstable.
All you have to do to participate is bring in an unopened box of cereal and drop it off at the office. We are also going to have a friendly competition between Class Cohorts to see who brings in the most boxes/cereal.
