Northview Highlands Middle School is a Grades 5 and 6 learning community for where students flourish academically, emotionally and socially in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Staff members recognize that during the middle years of school, students have unique developmental needs for independence, mastery and belonging.  Highlands utilizes a unique interdisciplinary team model along with programs and activities that encourage students to discover their full potential.  The school offers a comprehensive academic curriculum supported by classroom extensions including field trips, assemblies, technology labs, library, fine arts, and physical education programs.
