Green Team Announcements
Highlands Green Team is sponsoring a Toothbrush Swap. For each toothbrush a student brings in to recycle, they will receive a new, individually wrapped toothbrush for home. Maximum of two.
The Toothbrush Swap will be each Monday and Wednesday from 8:00-8:20 AM in the Green Room.
Let's Win A Bench!
November 15th is America Recycles Day! We are starting a plastic bag competition, hosted by TREX, to win a bench for Highlands. Last year, our Green Team collected plastic bags and won a bench that is now in the hall by our Computer Lab and Art Room. TREX accepts the following items for this collection:
Bags: Grocery, Bread, Dry Cleaning, Ice, Pellet, Produce, Salt and Cereal
Also Bubble Wrap, Newspaper Sleeves, Ziploc and Case Over-wrap
Please bring these items to the Green Team Room and Help Highlands Win A Bench!

Side Parking Lot If you are picking up your student on the side parking lot at the end of the day, please remember to park in a parking space and wait for your student. If a car line forms at the loading dock, traffic congestion creates possible hazards for students crossing the parking lot. Thank you for your help. |
