KENT CAREER TECHNICAL CENTER (KCTC): is holding their fall OPEN HOUSE on Thu., Oct. 17th from 5:00-7:00pm, 1655 E. Beltline NE. This is an excellent opportunity for students and their families to explore the various program KCTC has to offer.

KENT CAREER TECHNICAL CENTER (KCTC): is now offering Program Visits for students interested in attending KCTC for next fall. Students must reserve a spot ahead of time. KCTC gives preferential treatment during the enrollment process (Feb./Mar. 2020) for students who make a visit. Stop in the Counseling Office for the form and more information.

CENTRAL MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY: is waiving their application fees for the month of October if seniors apply this month. Apply at and choose the “Pay Later” option.

CORNERSTONE UNIVERSITY: is hosting Friday Golden Eagle Days on the following dates for students interested in experiencing life as a Cornerstone student: Oct. 18, Nov. 8, Nov. 15, Nov. 22, Dec. 6. For more information and to register, visit

COLLEGE FAIR: at Aquinas College is being held on Tue, Oct. 15th from 12:00-2:00pm and 6:00-7:30pm at the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center on campus. More than 70 colleges, universities and military personal will be present

GVSU COLLEGE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONS: is hosting their Health Careers Showcase on Wed., Oct. 30th from 6:00-8:00pm at the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences, 301 Michigan St., Grand Rapids. Explore the various undergraduate majors and graduate programs offered at GVSU.
