STUDENT BODY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Monday, December 2
• The Army National Guard will visit during lunches TODAY.
• TOMORROW’S after school CATS will be in the Writing Lab.
• There is no after school CATS on Wednesday, December 11th.

The last day of collection for Toys for Tots is Friday, December 13th. Bring a smile to a child by bringing in an unwrapped a toy for the box in the Front Office.

The Writing Center is open every Monday thru Thursday during both lunches, in the Writing Lab next to Mr. Brinks’ classroom. It’s a place where students of all grades can come with any piece of writing to seek guidance, advice, and ideas from our consultants. We hope to see you there!
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF: TOMORROW night at 7:00 PM in the PAC, the Advanced Theatre Arts class presents Theatre by the Numbers. Come see the students perform skits, poetry and monologues all written by Northview students and staff. Admission is free.
For all those boys interested in playing boys soccer in the fall of 2020, we will be having a meeting TOMORROW at 3:30 PM in the PE Classroom.
The Senior All Night Party is in need of help this Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:15 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:45 to 4:00 PM at the High School to set up for the Craft Show and the Santa Breakfast, and help vendors take down at the Craft Show.
Look for the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by Mr. Coty’s room or contact Mrs. Templar at Crossroads.
Jostens representatives will be here during lunches next Thursday, December 12th to deliver class rings. Your ring must be paid in full to receive it. No checks can be accepted on the day of delivery, cash or money order only please. If anyone is in need of warranty adjustments to their class ring or would like to order a class ring, you may do so at that time. Please call 1-800-JOSTENS (567-8367) with any questions or for payment information.
KCTC is now offering Program Visits for students interested in attending KCTC for next fall. Students must reserve a spot ahead of time. Stop in the Counseling Office for the form and more information.
Attention Juniors AND Seniors! Work-Based Learning is a program where you earn credit while you get paid to work. If you already have a job or are currently looking for a job, this might be a great fit for you for 2nd semester. If this is something you are interested in, see your counselor soon to discuss.
Grand Rapids Police will be hosting their Summer Youth Police Academy. This is open to 10th through 12th grade students who have a 2.0 GPA and interested in law enforcement. Stop in the Counseling Office for more information.
College Representatives visit NHS throughout the school year. These are excellent opportunities for students to learn more about college’s admissions process and other general information. Without the completion of the Senior Interview Sheet, your transcript and Letters of Recommendations will be delayed. Please see the Counseling office if you can’t find the task in Naviance Student.

COUNSELING OFFICE POWER WORKSHOPS
Let’s get stuff done!
The NHS Counseling Office will be holding weekly workshops in the Counseling Conference Room to assist students with high frequency topics! We will be holding one lunch session per week and one after school session per week.
This is meant to be a task-focused time for assistance. We encourage students to attend a topic of choice, we will also be able to assist with other topics, as needed and as staff is available.
Small treats will be provided for student attendees!
Parents are also welcome to attend!
Students may bring their lunch.
