Words thank you on a paper note

10 May May 10, 2017 Superintendent’s Blog

As the school year creeps to an end, my thoughts turn to the people who made this school year a success.  That’s each and every employee who moves through Northview buildings each and every day.  Here is a communication I sent to our staff this morning.  I am sure you share in my appreciation of the Northview staff as they work with you, our parents and community, to prepare students for life’s next step.

Dear Northview Public Schools Staff,

As I approach the end of my second year, I am mindful on a daily basis of the privilege it is to be superintendent at Northview.

Significant changes have occurred incorporating many new employees, evaluation systems and changes mandated by law. Through it all, the Northview staff has continued to collaborate and maintain focus on meeting the needs of students and families in this community. I am heartened to see your resiliency, positivity and commitment. I am humbled to work with such great people and challenged to meet the standards of leadership for the Northview team.

During this week of appreciation especially, but throughout the entire year, please know that you are valued each and every day for the work that you do to inspire, educate, care for and shape those individuals who will impact the future in ways we can only imagine. Northview students are fortunate to grow and learn under committed staff members that recognize the importance of relationships while always pushing them to do their best.

Thank you
Scott
