The Fitness and Aquatic Centers have re-opened!

Newly opened in fall 2014, Northview’s state-of-the-art swimming facility is committed to improving the health, safety, enjoyment and athletic competition of the Northview community.  The pool supports all competitive water sports with 13 lanes and two levels for diving (2 -1 meter boards and 1 – 3 meter board).  The pool has a 20 x 40-foot shallow area that can be used for activities such as swim lessons, water therapy and water aerobics.

IMPORTANT We are Closed on Monday July 5 in observance of Independence Day.

IMPORTANT The pool will be closed from July 25-August 8 for scheduled maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Lap Swim

AM Lap Swim || Monday, Wednesday, Friday:  5:30 – 8:00 AM

PM Lap Swim || Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6:30 – 8:45 PM

Saturday: 9 AM – 4 PM (Open Swim included 1-4 PM)

Sunday: 12-3 PM (Open Swim included)

A Northview Fitness Center membership covers your cost to participate in lap swim.  Non-members must purchase a day pass ($5 for Northview residents, $8 for Non-residents), paid at the Fitness Center desk.  All lap swimmers must check in at the Fitness Club desk before entering the pool area.

If you have a Fitness Center membership, Open Swim is included.

Cost: $5

Saturday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Sunday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Lap lanes are open during this time.

Swim Lessons – Summer

Cost for classes is $80 for Northview residents, staff, and students; $90 for all out of district. Payment is due at first class.

Classes are limited to 5 for ages for 3-5 and 6 for ages 6-12. Minimum number of participants for class to run is 3.

Weekday Morning Swim Lessons

Weekday morning swim lessons are offered Monday – Thursday for two consecutive weeks.

June 7 – 17 || June 21 – July 1 || July 12 – 22

Preschool class (ages 3-5) meets 10 – 10:40 AM

Youth class (6-12) meets 11 – 11:45 AM

Wednesday Evening and Saturday Morning Swim Lessons

Evening and weekend swim lessons are held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

June 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 30

Preschool class (ages 3-5) meets Wed 6 – 6:40 PM and Sat 10 – 10:40 AM

Youth class (6-12) meets Wed 7 – 7:45 PM and Sat 11 – 11:45 AM

Bring a check to your first class or mail payment to Suann Foust, NHS, 4451 Hunsberger NE GR 49525. Please make checks out to Northview Public Schools.

If you find you cannot attend the class after reserving your spot, please cancel as soon as possible so someone from the waitlist can be emailed to attend.

North Kent Aquatic Team

Are you looking for a swim program for your athlete? Northview has just the program with levels from beginners to college swimmers with seasons year-round.

The NKAT (North Kent Aquatic Team) offers a swimming program focused on our student-athletes. With a developmental program as well as a competitive USA Swimming program, we strive to present growth and opportunities for our swimmers from novice to college. We maintain a safe and inviting program, utilizing creative ideas and best practices. Our swim program respects hard work, builds confident individuals, embraces diversity, has fun, and celebrates community.
